Puzzlopedia may refuse participation or suspend an account in the action after prior rule violations.

• •Active account on Puzzlopedia (at least 1 month since registration).
• •Verified email address on your account.
• •At least 10 puzzles marked as completed on your account.
• •Acceptance of this entire rules document (read all points before joining a queue).

• •You join the queue for a chosen copy.
• •Active copy limit: at the same time you may have at most 10 puzzles “in progress” in Flow
  (queue sign-up, pending handoff, pickup, or assembly at your place).
  This keeps circulation balanced and prevents one participant from becoming a storage hub for Flow copies.
  The rule applies from publication and does not undo earlier queue sign-ups (see section 7).
• •The queue is ordered by proximity to whoever currently holds the puzzle (or the Flow custodian).
  People from the same city rank above participants from farther away.
  When cities differ, distance (when known) or country is used.
  This helps with in-person pickup and lower shipping costs.
  Sign-up order alone is not the only criterion.
• •Copies with an origin country other than Poland (donation from abroad)
  get a 7-day window on first departure from the custodian,
  when people from that country rank higher in the queue (within that country, proximity still applies).
  After that window or after the first handoff, only proximity to the current holder applies.
  Origin country does not guarantee the puzzle will return there... it depends on the queue, participants' choices, and international shipping costs.
• •When it is your turn, you receive a notice and you can:
  accept the puzzle, stay in the queue for later, or leave the queue for this copy.
• •Leaving the queue for a given copy is final.
  You cannot join that same queue again, but you may join queues for other designs.
• •After accepting, you receive the puzzle (in person or by post as agreed with the sender).
• •You have up to 30 days to assemble and pass the puzzle to the next person in the queue.
• •If you finish earlier, you may pass the puzzle on as soon as it is assembled.
• •After assembling, you pass the puzzle on. You do not keep or sell it.
• •You must not pass the puzzle to anyone outside the current Flow queue.
  At all times, the copy remains in the care of the participant who accepted it.
• •If there is no next person in the queue, the copy stays with you until another participant joins.
  If you do not want to store it, you may, after prior agreement, send it back to the Flow custodian at your own cost.
  Once another participant joins, the copy returns to circulation.
• •Travel postcards (optional):
  while the copy is with you, you may add one photo from this leg of the journey.
  This includes the handoff arrangement phase, until you mark the copy as shipped.
  You may replace it while you still hold the copy and shipping has not been marked.
  After shipping is marked, editing is no longer possible.
  Photos are public on the copy page (with a Flow watermark).
  Uploaded photos must not violate the law, third-party rights, or contain offensive or promotional content.

• •How you hand over the puzzle (pickup, parcel locker, courier) is agreed between participants in messages.
• •Shipping cost is usually paid by the receiver, not the sender (unless you agree otherwise).
  The puzzle may come from another city or country, and international shipping can cost more.
  When you get an invitation and accept the copy, you arrange pickup on your side.
  If the cost or shipping from abroad does not suit you, you may skip your turn or leave the queue.
• •When the next person in the queue confirms they want the puzzle (the “I’ll take it” button after an invitation), a deadline starts for the sender.
  The sender has 2 days to mark shipping or in-person handoff on the copy page.
• •After “I’ll take it”, the receiver messages the sender right away on Puzzlopedia and agrees the handoff method.
  Without that, the sender often cannot mark the copy as shipped.
  The 2-day counter includes time for these arrangements, but no contact from the receiver may lead to custodian action (see section 4).
• •After shipping is marked, a days-in-transit counter is shown on the page.
  (Warning thresholds depend on whether the shipment is domestic or international).
• •The receiver confirms receipt on the page only after physically receiving the puzzle.
  Only then does the 30-day counter for assembly and passing on start.
• •The sender packs the puzzle carefully before shipping.
  The shipping label or deposit code is arranged by the receiver.
  After agreeing the handoff method and carrier with the sender, they pass the needed details.
  (e.g. printable label, locker machine code).

• •Exceeding 30 days to assemble and pass the puzzle on (the counter starts after receipt confirmation on the page) is a rules violation.
• •Not marking shipping or in-person handoff within 2 days
  after the next person confirms they want the puzzle is a rules violation,
  if the sender could have handed off (arrangements with the receiver in place).
  The custodian gets an alert and may step in.
  A warning (e.g. a reputation entry) or Flow ban is possible.
• •No contact from the receiver after “I’ll take it” (no agreed shipping or pickup), so the sender could not hand off in time, is not automatically the sender’s fault.
  The custodian may then act against the receiver (warning, ban).
• •A domestic shipment in transit longer than 7 days or an international one longer than 14 days triggers a custodian alert.
  The custodian may step in (e.g. lost parcel, missing receipt confirmation).
• •Delayed receipt confirmation by the receiver may lead to contact from the custodian and a warning (e.g. a reputation entry).
  You must not extend your assembly time by not confirming receipt on the page.
• •Consequences may include a reputation entry and a temporary or permanent ban from the Flow action.
• •After passing the puzzle to the next person, you may leave each other a reputation rating.

• •Puzzles in Flow come from donations. Participants use them within this community action.
• •Puzzles with missing pieces or damage must be clearly marked.
  The next participant must know before accepting, so they can decide whether to assemble it.
• •When handing over the puzzle, report any missing pieces or damage not previously marked to me in a message.
• •The puzzle should be stored in a way that protects it from moisture, dirt, strong odors (for example cigarette smoke), and damage caused by pets.
• •If a copy is lost or seriously damaged, it may be withdrawn from the action.

Want to donate a puzzle to the action? A donation means shipping at your own cost. Every copy must reach me physically in Poland so I can add a Flow sticker and code before it enters circulation.

Before you send anything, message me. Do not send puzzles on your own without contacting me first.

• •Donation from abroad: ship to the Flow custodian in Poland at the donor's cost.
  After intake, the copy gets an origin country matching the donation.
  On first departure from the custodian, people from that country rank higher for 7 days.
  This does not guarantee the puzzle will return there... it depends on the queue and shipping costs.
• •Donation from a producer: puzzles reach the custodian in Poland and enter circulation from there.
  Origin country is always Poland, even when the producer is based abroad.
  We do not use the producer's country or the brand's country.
  The regular proximity queue applies, with no priority window for other countries.
• •Donation from a user in Poland: origin country: Poland. No priority window for other countries.
• •I prefer parcel locker GLI40M, Okrzei 20, Gliwice 44-100, Poland (near Stadion), but if you prefer another carrier, let me know.

These rules may be updated as the Flow action evolves.

The rules page shows the date of the last update.
After a new version is published, any earlier acceptance expires, and continued participation in Flow requires reading the updated sections and accepting them again.

Changes apply from the date they are published on the site.
They do not apply retroactively to completed handoffs.

Moderation exists to protect participants, copies, and the transparency of circulation in Flow.

Puzzlopedia may pause a copy, withdraw it from the action, or exclude a participant for breaking the rules.

Moderation actions may include, in particular, clarifying a dispute, temporarily stopping handoffs, contacting participants, recording a violation in reputation, and applying a temporary or permanent ban from Flow.
