My inspiration was the Puzzlecrossing action on puzzleforum,
which I still remember from the old days when I was just starting my puzzle journey there 🙃
What actually pushed me to do it was a message from Estella... 
she may have meant something completely different 😅 but I decided this kind of action 
would fit the idea behind Puzzlopedia much better.

Puzzlopedia Flow is a community action where selected physical puzzles travel between users.

The motto is simple: Assemble · Pass it on 🧩

One catalog entry means only one copy in the action. 
The puzzles in the action belong to Puzzlopedia (donations from you and from me) 
that wanted to build their own story and see a bit of the world 😎

🔹 in the Community tab → Flow banner, just above the map 
🔹 on the puzzle card in the catalog (small Flow badge on the box image) 
🔹 on the puzzle page, if its copy is in the action (small Flow badge on the box image)

1️⃣ Pick a design in Flow and join the queue.

2️⃣ The queue is not “first come, first served”.
What counts is how close you are to the person who currently holds the puzzle... 
so it is easier to arrange a pickup in person and cheaper to ship a parcel 📦

3️⃣ When it is your turn, you will get a notification. 
You can accept the puzzle, skip for later, or leave the queue.

4️⃣ After receiving it, you have up to 30 days to assemble it and pass it on. 
Finished earlier? You can hand it off right away 🙃

5️⃣ You arrange the handoff between yourselves (in person, parcel locker, courier).
Shipping cost is usually paid by the person receiving the puzzle (want to assemble it? arrange the shipment yourself 😜)

6️⃣ After the handoff, you can leave each other a reputation in Flow (for contact, packing, puzzle condition, and so on).

✔️ in Flow you assemble the puzzle and pass it on
❌ you do not keep it permanently and you do not sell it
✔️ before joining, you must accept the full action rules 
✔️ if a puzzle has missing pieces, or new ones show up along the way, they will be described as appropriate... 
so everyone knows and can decide whether to assemble or pass

Who can join the queue?
🔹 account active for at least 1 month
🔹 verified email
🔹 at least 10 puzzles marked as “completed” 
✔️ Flow rules accepted

You can check all of this on the Flow page... the system will tell you what you are still missing 😉

What’s a journey if you can’t look back later and flip through the photos?

In Puzzlopedia Flow, each copy in circulation can have its own gallery.
It’s optional... not a requirement, but a nice way to build the puzzle’s story over time.

Every uploaded photo gets a Flow watermark right away and appears on that copy’s page.

While you’re holding the puzzle, you can add one postcard from this leg of the journey 
(e.g. with a local landmark in the background). Before you pass it on, you can replace it if you want.

For joining a queue, passing puzzles on, reputation in the action... and even for donating puzzles to Flow. 
Check your profile → Badges.

Shipping is on your cost... if it is a donation, it is a donation 😜
