Thank you for writing this. I understand the wish to feel closer to other puzzlers while a puzzle is on the table.

Puzzlopedia will not go in that direction. It is a puzzle encyclopedia and a place for collections, reviews, trades, and meeting people who share this hobby. It is not a social feed.

Likes, cheers, live “currently puzzling” status, and comment threads on every update would add a lot of clicking and a lot of noise. Groups and forums already exist for that kind of chat. I do not want Puzzlopedia filled with photos and comments that do not help anyone choose or remember a puzzle.

If you are assembling something now, or you put it aside because it was too hard, that belongs in a note or a review on that puzzle. Follow people you like, send a message, invite someone to co-solve, join Flow. That is the connection I want here: around the puzzles themselves, not around a stream of updates.

Hmm, well, you do have a point. I’ll need to think about how to make it happen. And I think if I did it, I’d probably go with three ratings: Difficulty, Quality, and Artwork. The Overall Rating could then be the result of those three

It’s a really interesting suggestion. I need to think it through :)

EDIT: I’ve thought it over, and I’ve decided to keep the current rating system after all. The 1–5 rating is meant to reflect the overall experience, and there’s always the comment section to explain the reasons behind the rating or mention specific aspects of the puzzle :)

dzięki za uwagę, ale opcja usuń jest tylko dla admina i tak zostanie :) Ale zawsze można zmienić całkowicie dane i wrzucić inne puzzle w danym rekordzie, nie trzeba od razu usuwać ;)
