Terms of Service

These Terms of Service define the rules for using the Puzzlopedia website, available at puzzlopedia.pl and puzzlopedia.com.

The owner and administrator of the website is Renata Gajda Fanpuzzli, contact exclusively via e-mail: fanpuzzli@puzzlopedia.pl.

1. General provisions

Puzzlopedia is a community-based puzzle database created for puzzle enthusiasts. The service allows adding puzzle sets, photos, opinions, building collections, and interacting with other users.

Use of the website is voluntary and free of charge. The user may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion.

2. Registration and user data

To fully use the functionalities of the website, it is required to create an account by providing a unique username (login), e-mail address, city, and country. Providing first and last names is not mandatory.

The user may request the deletion of their account at any time by contacting fanpuzzli@puzzlopedia.pl. It is not possible to delete the account independently via the user panel. Deleting an account means permanently removing data assigned to the account, except for content already published (e.g., comments or photos), which may remain on the website.

3. Rules of using the website

The user undertakes to use the website in a manner consistent with the law, good manners, and social coexistence principles. It is prohibited to:

  • publish offensive, false, or misleading content,
  • violate copyrights or personal rights of other persons,
  • post advertising content without the consent of the website owner,
  • take actions that may disrupt the functioning of the website.

The user may mark puzzles in their collection with available statuses (e.g., have, want, sell, exchange, completed). These markings are for informational purposes only and do not constitute an offer or obligation to sell, exchange, or purchase.

The user bears full responsibility for the content they post, including photos, comments, puzzle descriptions, and reviews of other users. These opinions express only the views of their authors and are not verified by the website owner.

4. Copyright and license

By adding content to the website (including photos and descriptions), the user declares that they have the rights or appropriate consents to them. By submitting content, the user grants the website owner a non-exclusive, free license to use them to the extent related to the operation of Puzzlopedia.

5. Moderation

The website owner has the right to remove or modify content that violates these terms, the law, or good manners, as well as to block user accounts in the event of gross violations.

The website owner also reserves the right to temporarily limit access to the website or certain functionalities in case of technical work, maintenance, or updates.

6. Affiliate links and advertisements

The website may contain affiliate links and advertising content, which are managed exclusively by the owner. This information does not affect the possibility of using the website and does not oblige users to make purchases.

7. Events and external information

The website may publish information about puzzle events, such as meetings, contests, fairs, or other initiatives organized by third parties. The website owner is not responsible for the organization or course of these events or for any payments related to user participation. The information is for informational purposes only.

9. Complaints and contact

10. Changes to the terms and functionalities

The website owner reserves the right to make changes to these terms as well as to add, modify, or remove website functionalities at any time without prior notice to users. Changes take effect upon publication on the website.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

In matters not regulated by these terms, Polish law shall apply. In case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails. 12. Severability clause

If any provision of these terms proves to be invalid or ineffective, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In place of the invalid provision, the provision closest to the purpose of these terms and permissible under applicable law shall apply.
