Two versions of this exists. This blue box (as pictured here) is an updated version, I think basically 10 year anniversary. The quality is higher than of the original (black box).
This puzzle doesn't have 4-in or 4-out pieces, but instead has in each repeat cut section (24 in puzzle, 6 per bag) three special shaped pieces, one of each kind. You can't miss them once you see them.
The piece count is 81 rows x 296 columns or 81 x 74 per bag, so the full puzzle is 23976 pieces.
Educa piece replacements are piece-per-piece i.e. you need to count the piece you are missing in order to get a replacement.
